Alice J. Terrill

Alice J. Terrill 85, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Newton Medical Center. She was born October 21, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri to Albert L. and Eva (Barfield May) Davis.  On April 10, 1949 she married Donald Terrill in Kansas City, Missouri and he preceded her in death on June 30, 2014.  Alice was a member of the First Methodist Church in Newton. She enjoyed cooking and sharing her creations, travel and spending time with her friends.  Alice looked forward to decorating for the various holidays throughout the year. Her family was important to her and she looked forward to their visits.

She is survived by her son David T. Terrill of Newton, Kansas and daughter Robyn L. (Boyd) Weber of Newton, Kansas.  5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Graveside committal service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday June 26, 2015 at Restlawn Gardens of Memory in rural Newton with Chaplain Frances Rathbun presiding.  Visitation was 5 to 9 Thursday evening at Petersen Funeral Home.
