Glenda Elaine “Buni” Bradford

 

Glenda Elaine”Buni” Bradford was born November 24, 1952 to the union of Roland Peter Bradford and Hattie Mae Eubanks. She grew up in Arkansas City, Kansas where she attend public school in Cowley County, and later graduated in 1981. She was married to Claude Lolar Jr in 1969. This union was blessed with 4 children. Later she had a long standing relationship with Booker T. Hollis which brought forth her youngest blessing Tiara.

Glenda worked numerous jobs and continued to learn and love life. She enjoyed singing, listening to music, and spending time with her family. She had devoted love for animals especially cats. She enjoyed seeing her grandkids, cooking, and helping anyone she could.

She was a strong woman of faith, great mother, and the true definition of a survivor. She knew how to take a bad situation and make it funny as she loved to laugh and make other people laugh. She will be missed dearly.

Glenda leaves to cherish in her memory her mother Hattie Mae Burgin, her bother Ernest John Bradford, her children Marcus Lolar, Lisa Lolar, both of Ponca City, OK, Kesha Grace and husband Gimmill Grace of Ponca City, OK, Shaunta Lolar of Ponca City, OK, and Tiara Hollis of Wichita, KS and her grandchildren Jayden, Justice, Mercedes, Marcellus, Malessa, Nicolas, Maleena, Gimmill, Jamaica, Jakarrah, Dajunique, Aaron, Jacob, Bobby, Azaia and one great granddaughter Jai’Lynn. She also had many cousins and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father Roland Bradford, and one grandson Juwan Lolar.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday February 11, 2017 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Floyd Edwards presiding.  Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  There will be a private family interment at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Caring Hands Humane Society in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
