Lorraine E. Morrison

Lorraine E. Morrison, 94, of Sedgwick, Kansas died May 6, 2016.  She was born to Lute and Julia Alloway April 11, 1922 in Milton, Kansas.  She married Vern Morrison February 24, 1943, together they had two children, Linda and Douglas.  Lorraine worked as a cosmetologist in Wichita.  She is preceded in death by parents, Lute and Julia Alloway; husband Vern Morrison; and son, Douglas Morrison.  She is survived by daughter, Linda Morrison; grandson, Justin (Diana) Morrison; granddaughter, Cassondra (Richard) Ziegler; great granddaughters, Makenzie and Camyron Morrison; sister in law, Mary Jane Alloway; brother in law, Jim (Avis) Morrison; and sister in law, Geneva Poe and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday May 10, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church 225 S. Poplar St. Newton, Kansas. Viewing will be held prior to the funeral service, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the church.  Memorials may be made to Harry Hynes Hospice, or Zion Lutheran Church.
