Marc W. Jones 54, died October 27, 2018 in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania following a work accident.  He was born August 17, 1964 in Mostech, Germany near Bittburg to Lon and Phyllis Jones. 

 

On October 17, 2009 he married Rosa Ana Victorio in Dallas, Texas and she survives of the home.

 

He was a Lead with the Oil Company Deep Well Services. A job which he was a respected leader and greatly loved and always gave 110% every time.

 

Marc was a gentle laid back soul who would have given the shirt off his back and last dollar to those in need. He was a hardworking man who loved to provide for his family.  His daughter Alaina was without a doubt his whole world. There is definitely no question that she had her daddy wrapped around her little finger. They were inseparable.  Marc was an amazing husband and wonderful father and family man who greatly enjoyed his time with his wife, daughter, family and many friends.

 

Marc is survived by his loving wife Rosa Ana and their daughter Alaina Josephine Jones both of Newton, Kansas; His mother Phyllis Jones of Corpus Christi, Texas and a younger brother David Gregory Jones also of Corpus Christi, Texas. He also leaves behind a host of loving friends and family.

 

A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church in Newton with The Reverend Donna Voteau presiding.  Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday November 9, 2018 with the family receiving friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Petersen Funeral Home. 

 

There will be a private family interment.

 

Memorials in Marc’s name are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
