Margie was an avid reader as well as a womens’ state champion trap shooter.  Margie taught herself and later her children to cook, sew and knit. She was a Mom who put three complete meals a day on the table for nine people. She was an accomplished seamstress, and sewed dresses for all five girls every Easter and Christmas. Margie was the embodiment of strength and perseverance, which she applied with an iron will to overcome handicaps. Her children are filled with love, respect and admiration for all she was.
