Marty Kerekes

Martin “Marty” Kerekes 77 died Friday May 24, 2013 at Newton Medical Center.  He was born February 11, 1936 in Germany and was raised by his step father and mother Alex and Katrina (Klein) Juskowitz.  On July 22, 1978 he married Clara D. Claassen in Westerly, RI and she survives of the home. Marty worked as a truck driver for Farmer’s Oil Company. He has a passion for cars and motorcycles and enjoyed both driving and taking care of them. 

 He is survived by his wife Clara Kerekes of North Newton, Kansas; daughter Christy Kerekes of Wichita, Kansas; Brothers George Kerekes of New York and Hans and Matt Kerekes of New Jersey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews

 Marty is preceded in death by his mother and two brothers John and Mike Kerekes.

 A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday May 28, 2013  at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor’s Florence and Weldon Schloneger  of Faith Mennonite Church in Newton presiding.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to service time on Tuesday at the Petersen Chapel
