Ronny Rankin Weems

RONNY RANKIN WEEMS, Ronny Weems 81 died June 30, 2020 comfortably with new friends and family.  He was born 7/30/1938 to Harry Rankin and Seraphina (Engle) Weems in Denver Colorado.

Ronny graduated from North High School and attended tech school to become a Sheetmetal Worker (HVAC).  He retired as a Sheetmetal Worker and continued to be a member of the Sheetmetal Workers Union for over 60 years.  During his years Ronny had many side hustles that kept him and his many helpers busy.

Ronny is survived by his sons Ryan, Jim, Chuck and Tom; daughter Kitten; granddaughter Taylor; sister Judy; and brothers Larry and Dick.

Ronny spent most of his time working on old (very old) rental houses.  Later in life Ronny picked up and caught the Texas Hold’em bug and spent many, I mean many hours playing cards in questionable establishments across the country.

Aside from poker another one of Ronny’s passions was attending and watching his son and now granddaughter in their sport activities.

Graveside service of remembrance will be held at 10am Monday, July 6 2020 at the Sunnydale Park Cemetery, 10365 N. Hydraulic Ave., Sunnydale, KS 67147.
