  1. I have been blessed to have known Maxine. She was such a sweet soul! She’d take my hand and was such a great listener.

  2. So sorry to hear of your loss, we just found out this morning from a nurse at the dr’s office. Sorry we were not at the service, she was a dear friend of my mom’s.

  3. I worked for Dr Gregg and Dr. Bette for 25 years. I think I saw Maxine every 6 months for all of that time. We shared a love of our children and grandchildren. She would bring pictures every time I saw her. She was a joy, always happy and up beat. I have been gone from Newton for a while now but I was so sad to hear she had passed away. I never think of her without smiling

  4. We will really miss Maxine. We were blessed to have known her. She was very special to our family. We loved her a lot. She was the best neighbor anyone could have. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Jimmy, Connie, Micah and Malachi Wallace

  5. She was my neighbor when I was kid and she was like a grandma to me. She let me come hangout with her and even brought us over cakes sometime. She was a really special part of my childhood.
