Anthony T. “Tony” Steiner

Anthony (Tony) Steiner, 84, born August 22, 1932 in Jersey Shore, PA, to Anthony P. and Marion Steiner, passed away Tuesday, Feb 21, 2017.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and had many wonderful friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Martha, and one brother and sister. He is survived by wife Donna (Wells) Steiner, children Deb(Tim) Peters, Randy(Shar) Steiner, grandchildren Kristie(Neal) Purdy, Morgan Steiner, great grandchildren Hayden and Harper Purdy, step sons Steven Wells and Darren (Nellie) Wells, step grandchildren Audrey(TC) Rains, Alex Wells, Austin(Nichole Goodwin) Wells, Aaron Wells, Samantha Wells, Cory(Kacy) Wells, and nine step great-grandchildren.

Tony retired from Learjet in 1994 as an Avionics Instrument Technician, working previously in avionics for more than 45 years, partaking in numerous engineering opportunities as well.

He also served in the armed services of the U. S. Air Force from 1950 – 1954 during the Korean war effort and was stationed in Guam at the time.

He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W., American Legion, and a devoted member of Calvary United Methodist Church and was a beloved member of the church choir.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 24, 2017, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 2525 N Rock Rd, Wichita, KS.

  1. When Tony joined our family, we were blessed beyond measure. He and my Aunt Donna were lucky enough to have found one another and gave each other joy, love and companionship when it was needed most.
