April Ann Phillips, age 45, of Whitewater, passed away June 13, 2020 at St. Mark Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. April was born April 7, 1975 to Doug and Pam Goforth in Rock Spring, Wyoming.
April graduated form Quivira Heights High School, Bushton, Kansas in 1993. She worked many years in the health care field, in Ellsworth, Great Bend and Ellinwood, Kansas. April met her soulmate Travis in 2014 and he survives of the home.
She is survived by her mother, Pam Goforth of Lyons, KS, soulmate, Travis, daughter, Macy Phillips (Jay Zimmerman) of Wichita, KS, sons, Gavin Adian and T.J. Erskine of the home, bonus daughters, Kelsey Peterson (Daniel) of Peabody, KS, Bailey Peterson, sister, Danielle Bowen (David) of Newton, KS, brother, Cody Goforth (Jessica) of Lyons, KS, soul sister, Stacie Coleman-McMurtry (Johnny) of Wichita, KS, four grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews, 2 great nieces and one great nephew.
April was preceded in death by her father, G. Douglas Goforth, brother, Little Doug Goforth, and both sets of grandparents.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, June 28th , 2020 at 2:00 pm at the King Park Shelter House in Hesston, KS. Memorials are suggested to the Scleroderma Foundation and may be sent in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
