Arnold Koehn

Arnold Koehn 86, died Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Newton Medical Center in Newton, Kansas. He was born August 28, 1929 in Galva, Kansas to Peter W. and Clara (Nichols) Koehn.  On January 29, 1950 he married Neoma Ruth Jantz and she survives.

Arnold is a member of Eden Church of God in Christ Mennonite Rural Burns, Kansas and a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife Neoma of Moundridge, Kansas; son Stanley G. Koehn and his partner Jeanie Unruh and daughter Geneva and her husband Roger Koehn. He is also survived by three brothers Chester, Willard and Kenneth Koehn and 5 sisters: Norma Jean, Vesta, Doris, Bernice and Vada.  Arnold had 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister and a infant son.

Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Eden Mennonite Church with Minister Lowell Koehn, Roland Koehn and Larry Koehn presiding. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Petersen Funeral Home. With the family receiving friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery.
