Hipp, Beverly Irene, 94, passed away in Lakewood, CO on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Born, June 12, 1927 in Great Bend, KS, daughter of Lester and Opal (Smith) Curtis. She lived most of her life in Kansas and moved to Colorado in June 2015 to be near her daughter after of the death of her Husband (Gene) and son (William).
Beverly is survived by her daughter Holly (Dan) Vosburg of Littleton, CO: three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lester and Opal (Smith), Brothers Lester Jr. and Donald Curtis, Gene Hipp her loving husband of 60 years, and her son William.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday September 3, 2021 at The Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick, Kansas. There will be no public visitation. Petersen Funeral Home, Newton, Kansas.
Holly, I am so sorry for your pain and loss. Your mom leaves a great legacy, a life lived for Christ. She was a friend and mentor. A prayer warrior. A woman with a heart for God, not ashamed of the gospel. She taught me so much. She is loved and missed.
