Bobby G "Bob" Niblett

Bobby (Bob) Niblett 89, went peacefully home to his Lord and Savior, whom he served faithfully on August 29, 2023.

He served many years as a Deacon in the Baptist church but faithfully attended the Legacy Worship Center (Westside Freewill Baptist) in Wichita, KS for the last 17 years. Bob was dearly loved by his family, and he loved them.

Bob is survived by his wife Geraldine of the home; sons Bobby G and Allyson Niblett Jr., Jerry, and Rebecca Niblett; daughter Lisa and Steve Haggard; brothers Jim and Bill Slaughter and sister Linda Trice. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Cole and Emma (Essary) Niblett; daughter LaVonna Niblett; sister Betty Benge and brothers Coy and Jack Niblett

A graveside committal service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, Kansas. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday September 5, 2023, at Petersen Family Funeral Home in Newton, Kansas.

Memorial contributions can be made out to Legacy Worship Center and left in care of Petersen Family Funeral Home.
