Newton- Carol Ann Coleman-Singh-73- Passed away September 16, 2018 at her home in Newton. She was born January 16, 1945 In Newton the daughter of Lester and Anna May Stamm. Carol spent a lifetime helping others with a career in social services locally and in surrounding communities. On December 8, 2009 she married Bill Ebenstein in Newton, Ks. he survives of the home. Other survivors include a son Ahmee Singh of Newton, Ks.; a daughter Pamela Bell of Topeka, Ks.; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son Kashmir and a granddaughter violet.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, September 20, 2018 a 2:00 pm at Petersen Funeral Home with private burial at a later time. Memorials have been established with Caring Hand Humane Society and Harvey County Big Brothers Big Sisters in care of the funeral home. Carol had very compasionate heart for those in need. She served on the Harvey Couty Homeless Shelter board in the early days of the shelter where I vbolunteered with her.
