Carrellen M. Lewis

Carrellen M. Lewis 73, died Monday, March 1, 2021 at Hutchinson Regional Hospital in Hutchinson, Kansas.  She was born January 26, 1948 in Great Bend, Kansas to Carrell and Geraldine (Esau) Williams.

Carrellen had a great faith in her Lord and faithfully served as a member of the Full Gospel Church in Hutchinson where she remained active in the church.

She enjoyed crafts especially sewing, quilting and cross stitch. She sold many of her creations in local craft stores. Carrellen had a special love of pets and especially enjoyed caring for her special dog Trixie and her cockatiel birds. Carrellen also enjoyed sharing stories about her family.

The family would like to acknowledge the love and care of Sheila Richards who cared for Carrellen.

She is survived by her mother Geraldine Williams; daughters Dawn Schoepflin,  Lois Clark, and Dorene Davies; son Edgar Block; two sisters Evelyn Cook and Pat Steadman. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Carrellen is preceded in death by her father Carrell, brother Henry Williams, infant sister Lily Ann Williams and son Timothy Block.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday March 5, 2021 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel in Newton, Kansas.  Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Walton Cemetery in Walton, Kansas

Memorials may be made to Full Gospel Church in care of Petersen Funeral Home 215 North Main Newton, Kansas.
