Catherine M. “Connie” Morford 95, died February 23, 2023 at Paramount Health and Rehab in Newton. She was born February 19, 1928 in Little River, Kansas to Robert and Florence (Moredick) Reynolds. On April 28, 1973 she married Galen E. Morford and he preceded her in death.
Connie was a retired 911 operator for Harvey County. She and Galen were members of the First Christian Church in Newton. Connie
She was a loving mother and very proud of her children. She looked forward to family time and following her kids and grandkids activities.
Connie is survived by her son Rich (Susan) Huffman; daughter Michelle (Larry) Janzen and 4 grandkids, 10 great grandkids and 2 great great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
A gathering with the family will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday March 25, 2023 at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Caring Hands Humane Society and left with Petersen Funeral Home.
