Cecil J Ellis 63, died Monday August 24, 2020 at home. He was born October 8, 1956 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Clay B. and Neva J. (Flood) Ellis. On August 6, 1976 he married Laura L. Hamilton in Wichita, Kansas and she survives of the home.
He retired as a press operator for the Takako Piston Company in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Cecil attended the Baptist church as his health allowed and maintained a strong faith in God through the years.
He loved watching OU football, fishing, god and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Laura of the home; son: David J. Ellis; daughters Marsha Wills and Susan Schrader her husband Andy Schrader and 8 grandchildren also survive
Cecil is preceded in death by his Parents one son Michael Ellis one Niece Mandy Vogt and a brother Clayton and sister Vickie Dodd
A celebration of Cecil’s life is planned for a later date.

Sorry to hear that CJ went to join his other family members in heaven. My condolences. He was always nice to me and gave me a hug as if I was family . I felt like I was part of the Ellis family.

C J Ellis was a great guy to work with as he had strong work ethics . He did not know a stranger. I appreciated his immense love for God. and the United States of America. We enjoyed rivalry over Red River football game between OU and Longhorns. RIP dear CJ
