Charles Biby

Charles W. “C.W.” Biby 92, died Thursday May 23, 2013 at Newton Medical Center. He was born September 6, 1920 in Wichita, Kansas to Richard and Goldie V (Branson) Biby.  On March 26, 1941 he married Aleen Woodard in Newton, Kansas and she survives.  Charlie was a member of the First Missionary Church in Newton and retired from Beechcraft as a maintenance supervisor.  Charlie was known as a workaholic. He greatly enjoyed keeping busy and built the home he and his family lived in for over 60 years.  Family was very important to Charlie and he greatly looked forward to spending time with his loving family and many friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 He is survived by his daughter and her husband Colleen and Duane Reiss of Wichita, KS; Close special friends Pastor Ray and his wife Cheryl Adams and their children  of Newton, KS; sister Maebelle Mabe of Wichita, KS He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 29, 2013 at First Missionary Church in Newton, Kansas with Pastor’s Ray Adams and Darin Mabe presiding. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Petersen Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 :00 p.m. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 29, 2013 at Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita, KS.
