Clinton A. “Andrew” Ellis, 32, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at his Newton residence.He was born April 3, 1981, in Blackwell, Okla., to LeRoy and Vronda (Buxton) Ellis. Andrew moved to Newton with his family in 1986 and attended Newton schools. He was a driver for Rail Crew express out of Newton.Andrew was an avid gamer and enjoyed his Sunday game night with friends and family. He had a great sense of humor and was a loyal friend.He is survived by his parents, LeRoy and Vronda of Blackwell, Okla.; grandparents, Bonnie Buxton-Gingerich and Marvin and Eddie and Norma Ellis, all of Blackwell, Okla.; sisters, Melissa Ellis and fiancé, Steven Rangel, and Valerie Garver and her husband, Josh, both of Newton; and brother, Brian and Carrie Ellis of Ponca City, Okla. He also is survived by nine nieces and nephews: Tiffany Olmstead, Michael Olmstead, Shelbie Ellis, Erika Lally, Dallas Funk, Andy Ellis, Storm Lally, Devon Funk and Caylee Garver, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Norman Buxton.A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Columbus Avenue Church of Christ with Pastor Buddy Aldridge presiding.
