Dennis Leon Ratzlaff

Dennis Leon Ratzlaff, age 56, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Kansas Christian Home in Newton. Dennis was born April 15, 1962 in Newton, KS the son of Bruce Leon and Shelia Ann (Kochenower) Ratzlaff.

Dennis graduated from Newton High School and worked in construction until he was no longer able to. He married Diann Staley and to that union one daughter was born. They later divorced.

Dennis is survived by his father; Bruce and wife Maxine of Jet, OK, daughter; Destiny and husband Brice of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, brothers; Brian and wife Gloria of North Carolina, Greg and wife Joni of Halstead, KS, and grandchildren; Isabella and Leo.

He was preceded in death by his mother Shelia.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at Petersen Funeral Home from 5-9 pm with family present from 6-8 pm. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 10:00 a.m.,  Restlawn Gardens of Memory, Newton, KS. Memorials are suggested to the Kansas Christian Home Fellowship of John fund and may be sent in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
