Deric J Allen

A 2003 graduate of Newton High School. Professionally Deric was an entrepreneur, CEO of On the Job LLC. Deric wasn't all business though, he was the life of the party, from singing to winking and overall mischievous charm, a real Yabba Dabba Doo kind of guy.  

 

Deric's need for speed whether it be boating, horseback riding or tootling on his golf cart. Lifelong Kansas City sports fan through thick or thin. Deric an athlete himself a multiple Special Olympics medal winner and a serious bowler. Deric kept his mind sharp daily by watching multiple game shows. Deric liked scary movies and jump scares that kept him on his toes. Coinsurer of finer things in life like Cheetos, cookies, ice cream and Yoo-Hoo kept his motor running. Once Deric retired, he was able to travel, stargazing around campfires in many national parks, but he was mostly a Vegas kind of guy, loving the lights and sound of a busy city full of people. Deric had a smile to share with anyone, that stamped hearts of all he knew. Those are some of the countless memories that will never be forgotten.
