Donna Jean (Sabo) Entz went to her heavenly home on June 27, 2023 at Kidron Bethel Home in North Newton, Kansas.
She was born on February 13, 1936 in Minot, North Dakota to Ingvald P and Hazel Mae Sabo
She met a fine young soldier, Gene Entz, in Port Orchard. They got married on January 22, 1954 at Zion Lutheran Church, Newton Kansas.
She worked as a CNA at Axtell Christian Hospital, Halstead Hospital and Newton Medical Center. She was very active in VFW Aux at Newton Post 971.
Donna had a family of 4 beautiful daughters. Jacquie Oswald, Newton KS, Michelle (Kent) Pfautz, Hesston KS. Shannon (Curtis) Musick, Overbrook KS. Marishawn (Jerry) Schmidt, Hillsboro KS.
She has 6 grandsons, 6 granddaughters and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Gene Entz, husband. Parents Ingvald and Hazel Sabo, Sister Marjorie Endsley, Brother Archie Sabo, Son-in-laws Randy (Pete) Petersen and Richard Oswald.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Friday June 30, 2023 at Petersen Family Funeral Home front foyer. Service will be 10:00 Saturday, July 1 2023 at Hesston Mennonite Brethren Church, 610 West Randall, Hesston KS, with Reverend Brad Burkholder officiating. Burial will take place at Stoehr Cemetery, Elmdale, KS following service.
Memorials may be made out to Kidron Bethel Home and left in care of Petersen Family Funeral Home.
