Duane C Miles

Duane C Miles age 76 passed away peacefully on Sunday December 8, 2024 at Newton Medical Center. He was born May 1, 1948 in Newton to Clayton and Dorothy Miles. Duane graduated from Newton High School in 1966 and went on to Southwestern College where he earned a Business degree. 

In 1977 he married Jennifer (Kuhlman) in Wichita, KS. They have two children. He was a good friend, loving husband, father and grandfather.

Duane worked in the banking industry approximately 40 yrs in Kansas and Colorado. He officiated basketball and enjoyed many sports. Loved watching KU basketball, baseball and playing golf. 

Duane is survived by his wife Jennifer, Daughter, Kelly McGarry (Jim) son Blake(Jacklyn). 3 grandchildren Kyle, Paige and Claire McGarry and a granddaughter to be born in 2025. 

Funeral services will be on Monday, December 16, 2024 10:30 am at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church, 1200 Boyd Avenue, Newton,KS 67114.
