Dustin Patterson 37, died Wednesday May 4, 2016 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born November 15, 1978 in Wichita, Kansas to Lonnie and the late Jeannie (Holland) Patterson. Dustin grew up in Newton and recently moved to Kansas City .He attended Newton High School.  Dustin was an outgoing person with many friends, he looked forward to spending time with his loving family and friends.

Dustin is survived by his father Lonnie Patterson, sister Wendi and her husband Vincent Holeman, nephews Jeremiah and Arron Holeman, niece Lesha Holeman, aunt and uncle Annie and Harold Sympson, cousins Jeremy Bert Sympson and Harold Sympson Jr., uncles Lecil and Carl Holland all of Newton, Kansas.

He is preceded in death by his mother Jeannie.

A gathering and time of sharing and reflection will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening at Petersen Funeral Home. The family will be available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to greet friends.  A short graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, Kansas.

Memorials are suggested to the family to help offset funeral expenses in care of Petersen Funeral Home.

  1. Dustin, you will be missed. I remember that time you went with me to my 5th year High School Class Reunion… We had so much fun that night!! I miss your mom so much as well… Lonnie and Wendi, my prayers are with you all. Take care, and call if you need too!!
