Newton, KS -Elinor V. Hall-91-Peacefully passed away October 12, 2020 at Kansas Christian Home. She was born February 13, 1929 In Pawnee Rock, KS the daughter of John and Malinda (Base) Friesen. In 1946 she moved to Newton and graduated from Bethel College. On June 1, 1951 she married Thomas W. Hall who precedes her.
She is survived by two sons Gordon Hall of Tecumseh, KS; Richard Hall of Newton, KS; Three daughters Debra Cook of Sissonville, West Virginia; Loretta Ayers of Elbing, KS; Karen Sellars of Valrico, FL.; a brother Homer Friesen of Newton, KS; ten grandchildren five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation is scheduled Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 5-8pm at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel, Newton, KS. A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 11:00AM Friday, October 16, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, KS
I am grateful your mother is home with the Lord. It was my privilege to serve as your pastor for a few years. I pray God’s richest comfort and blessing on each of you as we press toward the mark of reunion with Jesus in glory.
My mom and I would visit and she so loved company. What a kind, wonderful soul. Both are chatting in glory.
