Florence Brown was born on November 7, 1919 in Peabody, Kansas to Clarence and Florence (Baker) Fitzwilliam.
Corky married Colonel Walter A. Brown, on April 12, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas. They were married for almost 74years prior to her death.
Corky was a strong and independent person. She was considerate, thoughtful and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved the outdoors, was a great artist and had a strong flair for pretty clothes.
She is survived by her husband: Colonel Walter A. Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents and son: Michael Brown.
A graveside committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13th at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton. There will not be a public visitation. Petersenfamilyfuneralhome.com.
