On Sunday, August 2, 2020, Harold Loyd Wonders passed away at the age of 90. Harold was born December 19, 1929, in Vivian South Dakota to John and Maudie Wonders (Faubus).
Harold married Eileen Stutzman of Newton on August 6, 1962, they were married 58 years. He worked at Cargill Flour Milling (Ross Industries), Newton, KS for 44 years.
Harold is survived by his wife Eilleen Wonders, son Michael Wonders and daughter-in-law Shelly Wonders of Newton, daughter Glynis Wonders Steider and son-in-law Scott Steider of Hickory Creek, TX, grandaughters Karissa Pheatt and husband Johhny Pheatt of Santa Curz, CA, Kami Wonders of Wichita, KS, Regan Steider and Makenzie Steider of Hickory Creek, TX, Carrie Willems Greever of Park City, KS, grandsons Garret Steider and fiance Kina Ackerman of Seattle, WA, Brandon Willems of Newton, great-granddaughter Emily Greever of Park City, KS, baby Pheatt of Santa Curz, CA (due in August) and a great-grandson Tyler Wilson of Newton, KS.
Harold is preceded in death by daughter Wanda Willems, parents John and Maudie Wonders (Faubus), sister Katheryn Fouts and brother Vernon Wonders.
Graveside services will be held at Restlawn Gardens of Memory Cemetery, US-50, Newton KS. Thursday, August 6, 2020, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Church of God of The First Born 133 E. 10th, Newton, KS 67114.
