Harold “Mike” Poull

Harold M “Mike” Poull 53, died Sunday, January 31, 2015 at his Wichita residence. He was born July 5, 1961 in Kingman, Kansas to Harold and Norma (Grice) Poull. Mike attended Newton High School until his last semester and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1979.  He was a machinist in the aircraft industry.  He enjoyed collecting guns and also enjoyed making custom guns. He enjoyed music and his MP3 player had a wide and eclectic variety of music on it.  In prior years he was a patron at The Fieldhouse bar in Wichita where he earned the affectionate nickname “Norm”.  Mike was a loyal friend and loving brother and uncle and will be missed by many for his generous and fun disposition.

He is survived by his siblings: Suzi Goldt of Overland Park, KS, Daniel Poull (Janice) of Lawrence,  Patrick Poull (Linda) of Kansas City, MO, Kris Tetrick (Jerry) of Hutchinson, KS, Kelly Poull of Lawrence and Jeanne Poull (Mel) of Blachly, OR. Mike is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Suzi Goldt presiding.  The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday prior to the service. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
