Harvey H. Cunningham, 89, died on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Kansas Christian Home of Newton. Harvey was born on March 25, 1925 to Clifford and Isabelle (Hughes) Cunningham in Manor, Kansas.
He married Reva Rogers on May 25, 1951 at the Salvation Army in Newton, Kansas. Reva and Harvey have been married for 62 years prior to his death.Harvey was retired from Ross and Cargil Industries with 39 years of service.
Harvey served in the U.S. Army and he loved going fishing and reading Louis L’ Armour books. He is survived by his wife: Reva J. Cunningham; son: Larry Cunningham; granddaughters: Melissa Hubbard and Jennifer Cunningham; three great grandchildren: Theron, Niko and Brian; and brother: Jim Cunningham.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Clifford Cunningham and Isabelle Baldwin; son: Glen Cunningham; brothers: Richard and Bill; and sisters: Ruby and Star.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Petersen Funeral Home. A graveside committal service will follow the service at Restlawn Gardens of Memory. A visitation will be held at Petersen Funeral Home on May 21st, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM with the family present from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
