Irene Louise Stein

Irene Louise Stein, 77, died July 10, 2022, at her home in Newton, Kansas.

She was born in Newton, Kansas on November 15, 1944, the daughter of Mary Stein.

Irene received her doctorate in computer science. As a caring and compassionate person, Irene would later find joy working at Helping Hands Senior Care, where she performed whatever task was needed of her.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Lori Schmidt and granddaughter, Melissa Schmidt. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Stein, and step-father, Ray Reece.

Following Irene’s wishes cremation has taken place.
