Jereline Tackett

Jereline Tackett 81, died October 26, 2021 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice. She was born August 8, 1946 in Tirmonton, Utah to Maynard and Laverne (Childs) Summers. On November 28, 1963 she married Darryl Tackett At Elko, Nevada and he survives of the home.  She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Darryl and Jereline were sealed in the Salt Lake City Utah Temple. She enjoyed spending time crocheting and loved to travel. She and her husband traveled most all of the Western United States in their camper and especially enjoyed Yellowstone National Park and seeing the Giant Redwoods in California.  They belong to a camping club that regularly met at Marion Reservoir.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 2nd at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Newton Ward with Bishop Brian Kynaston Conducing.

Burial will be in the Mound Township Cemetery in Rural Moundridge, Kansas.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital or

Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in care of Petersen Funeral Home
