Judith “Judy” Ann Winsky, age 82, was reunited with her loved ones in Heaven on October 21, 2024. Judy lived and worked in Newton for most of her life but spent the last four years living in St. Louis and Elkhart, Indiana to be closer to family.

Judy was a 1960 graduate of Newton High School. She worked as a secretary for several local businesses including Excel Industries, Hesco Interiors, Hesston Corporation and Dr. Richard Irwin. She was also a pharmacy attendant at K-Mart and Halstead Hospital. Prior to her retirement, Judy was a saleswoman at Rohr Jewelry. During her secretarial career, Judy served as President of the National Secretaries International chapter in Newton and for the State of Kansas. She was also a member of Professional Secretaries International and the Newton Child Study Club.

Judy was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Newton. She was a faithful Christian and served as a child carer for the church’s nursery. She was a social butterfly and never knew a stranger. She enjoyed traveling, visiting family and friends, participating in church activities and spending time with her two devoted dogs, Jenny and Jody.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two siblings, Laura Lynn and Jerry Donaldson. She leaves behind two daughters, Lori and Steve Aul of Ballwin, Missouri, and Suzy Adamson of Elkhart; one sister, Joyce Pyonk of Elkhart; three grandchildren, Mackenzie Smith of Chicago, Meghan and Constantine Caviris of Whitestone, New York, and Matthew and Leslie Aul of Littleton, Colorado; one great-granddaughter, Mary Violet of Whitestone; former husband and father of her children, Gary Adamson of Three Rivers, Michigan; and many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, siblings-in-law and grand-dogs.
