Karen Huffman

Karen L. (Knutsen) Huffman 83 died May 13, 2024, at Halstead Health and Rehab. She was born November 23, 1940, in Wichita, Kansas to Hans and Lucy L. (Burrus) Knutsen. On August 11, 1961, she married Jon Huffman in Wichita, Kansas and he survives of the home.

Karen was a graduate of Wichita North High and attended Wichita State University for 2 years. Karen loved being a wife and mother and enjoyed being home raising her family before working as a middle school secretary at Andover Schools and with the Wichita State University basketball office. Karen was an outstanding cook, loved counted cross stitch, her pets and music.

She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to many and will be remembered as a person who loved life and helping people.

A private family service will be held.
