Kenneth G. Pulaski

Kenneth (Ken) Gerald Pulaski, 78, died Friday, Sept. 14,2018 at his residence. He was born March 12,
1940, in Newton to Willie (Bill) and Josephine (Fisk) Pulaski. He was the youngest of six children

Ken graduated from Newton High School in 1958. He married Karen McAdow in 1984.

After graduation he held different jobs. He was sole owner and operator of Ken’s Trucking doing the
Piggy Back service through the Santa Fe Railroad, before moving the operation to another part of the
state. After his retirement, to keep him busy, he worked at Walmart and as a US Postal rural mail carrier
for Sedgwick/Valley Center.

Survived by his wife, Karen of Sedgwick, sons Jerry of Yukon, Oklahoma and Jeff (Angela) Pulaski of
Sedgwick.

Sisters Betty Roth, Judy Box of Newton, brother Merle Pulaski of Missouri. Step daughters Donna (Mark)
Funk, North Newton; Deanna (Rick) Puckett, Newton; Step son, Darrel (Ronya) McAdow, New Plymouth,
Idaho, grandchildren: Katie, Aidan and Lucia Pulaski, Sedgwick; step grandchildren Shelby (Tyler)
Schroeder, Newton, Colton and Cassidy Funk, North Newton; step great grandchildren, Jonathan, Levi
and Brayden Schroeder, Newton.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Pauline Gray and Iris Pulaski and step great
granddaughter Carlee Schroeder.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life, with family and friends, will be held at the Family Life
Center at the Salem United Methodist Church in Newton on September 28,2018 at 10:00 a.m. Private
burial following.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Peterson Funeral Home in
Newton.
