L. Faye Mohrbacher

Faye Mohrbacher, 86, of Newton died August 1, 2016. She was born May 17, 1930 to Herbert and Nona Stevenson in Salina, Kansas. Her mother married Chester Means, who adopted Faye when she was 12. Faye graduated from Goddard High School and attended Friends University and Wichita State, where she met Jim Mohrbacher. They were married for 58 years. They had four children, David, Diana, Donald and Donna. Faye was retired from the Harvey County Courthouse in 1992.   She is preceded in death by her twin at birth, Livina May, parents Chester and Nona Means and husband, James Mohrbacher. She is survived by children, David Mohrbacher, Diana Mohrbacher, Donald Mohrbacher and Donna Mohrbacher Vazzana; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, in Newton on Saturday August 6, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.  Condolences may be left at www.petersenfamilyfuneralhome.com
