Life Sketch for Lacita “Ci Ci” Ann Davis

 

Lacita Ann Davis, 55, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 7,  2016.

 

Lacita was born on February 5, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

 

She attended Newton Schools, participated in track and was the first black Usherette at Newton High School.  After high school she attended Cosmetologist School and became a hair stylist in New York and Chicago.  While in Chicago, she became ill and moved back to Newton for care and support. She was ill for an extended period of time prior to her passing.

 

She is survived by her parents: Lorton Hayes and Inez (Woody) Rowland.

 

Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 15th at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel in Newton. The family will greet friends before and after the service. There will not be an inurnment.

Lacita will be remembered for her zeal for life, strong spirit and love for family.
