Laura Patsy “Pat” Palmer

Laura Patsy “Pat” Palmer 79, died September 27, 2022 at NMC Health Newton.  She was born November 23, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Edgar and Laura (Hamilton) Harlow.

Pat loved music and dancing and country music was a special favorite. She also could be found spending time crocheting and sewing. One of her favorite pastimes was decorating for various holiday’s. She was known for being an outgoing social person who was always on the go. One of her greatest joys in life was being a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many.

She is survived by her son Gerald Graevs; daughters Lavonne Ratcliff; Gloria Taylor and her husband Ben; brother Russell Harlow; sisters Ann Theiring and Billie Lou Popp. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, son Phillip Schmidt; sister Jean Sebree and her brothers Clifford and Jim Harlow.

Graveside committal service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday October 3, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton with The Reverend Donna Voteau presiding. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday October 2, 2022 at Petersen Funeral Home Newton.

Memorials in Pat’s memory may be made to the Donor’s choice and left with  the funeral home.
