Lawrence Eugene Conrady

Lawrence Eugene Conrady, age 58, passed away at his home in Sedgwick, KS on October 29, 2018 surrounded by his family. Larry was born April 21, 1960 in Newton, KS to Paul and Mary (Andra) Conrady.

Larry grew up in Sedgwick and attended Sedgwick High School and Hutchinson Community College. He worked at Excel as a welder until illness caused him to retire. Larry enjoyed mowing, working on automobiles, but mostly spending time with his children, grandchildren, and all of the Conrady family. Larry was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Conrady of Sedgwick, sons, Jared and Steven Conrady both of Wichita, KS, daughter, Caitlin Schmit of Fowler, CO, brothers, Daniel (Linda) Conrady of Wellington, KS, David (Jeanine) Conrady of Overland Park, KS, sisters, Deborah Conrady of Sedgwick, Catherine Conrady, Sharon (Vincent) Tafolla, Karen (Junior) Mosqueda, Peggy (Mark) Phillips all of Newton, KS, grandchildren Baylee, Blake, Luke and Levi, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Conrady.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be prayed Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be held Friday, November 2, 2018, 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with The Reverend Nicholas Voelker officiating. Private family burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Serenity Hospice and may be sent in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
