Lee Murray passed away September 21, 2014. He was born in Coffeeville, Ks, December 7, 1925. His parents were Elmer Murray and Florence May (Straughn) Murray. Survivors are daughter Patricia Cowden-O’Hara (Tom) Wichita; and Debora Murray Shaw (Stephen). Grandchildren: April Stiles, Kim Cash. Great Grandchildren are Amy, Dustin, Christopher, Shelby, and Autumn. Those who preceded Lee in death are: wife Barbara (Fisher) Murray, brother Henry Murray, twin sisters Faye Murray and Fern Campbell, and granddaughter Lisa Shaw.
Lee was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 31 years. He liked old cars, fishing, hunting, camping. He also loved life and his family.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-9 at Petersen Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick. Petersenfamilyfuneralhome.com.
