Linda K. Johnson, 74, died on February 22, 2023, at her residence in Newton, Kansas. She was born on July 15, 1948, in Mesa, Arizona, the daughter of Arthur and Elsie (Shirey) Johnson. Linda attended Galt high school in California, graduating with the class of 1966.
Linda spent most of her life in California, and had many different careers in her life, her favorite being working as a mixologist.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her pets and she was very family oriented. She spent lots of time with her kids and grandkids. Linda also loved to shop.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Waltera Baird, Carrie Neel, and Shirley Buss; grandchildren, Caleb Johnson, Kenneth Wilson, Kristen Plummer, Jessica Kaumans and Lacey DeHaven; great-grandchildren, Annebelle Littleton, Serenity J. Ludeman, Millie Plummer, and (soon to arrive) Declan Plummer, Alex Kaumans, Michael Kaumans, and Octavia Kaumans, Desmond McKee, Lux and Layla Chappel; and brother, Roger Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Elsie Johnson; husbands, Walter Jack Johnson and Charles Allen Neel Jr; and two brothers.
A come and go celebration of Linda’s life will be at 12:00 p.m., July 15th, 2023 at Eastlake in Newton, Kansas.
In memory of Linda, memorial contributions may be made to Caring Hands Humane Society in Newton, Kansas, and may be mailed directly to them or given to Petersen’s Funeral Home for distribution.
