NEWTON — Lois Ann
(Squires) Marshall, 76, of
Newton, died Monday,
Sept. 9, 2013.
She was born Aug. 21, 1937,
in Dover, N.J., the daughter
of William L. Squires Sr. and
Laura E. (Truscott) Miller.
She was preceded in death by
her father and step-mother, William L. and Dorothy “Dot” Squires Sr.;
and mother and step-father, Laura
and Rev. Frank A. Miller. Survivors
include her husband, Thomas “Tom”;
daughter, Kristene (Mel) Alexander,
of Lindsborg; son, Thomas R. “T.J.”
(Karen) Marshall, of FortWalton
Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren,
Chelsea Kay Stribling and Ian James
Thomas Stribling, of Lindsborg; sisters,
Erna (Steve) Shenk, of Orlando, Fla.
and (twin) Lora (Harold) Schumacher, of
Bell, La.; brother, William L.
(Helga) Squires, Jr., of Homosassa, Fla.;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 10 with the family receiving friends from
6:30-8 p.m. at Petersen Family Funeral Home, Newton.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a..m.
Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Zion
LutheranChurch, Newton.
Interment will follow in RestlawnGardens of Memory,
rural Newton. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials to Camp
Barnabas Christian Camp
