Loren J. DeMoss 65, died December 14, 2016 at Wesley Medical Center. He was born October 17, 1951 in Des Moines, IA to Daniel and Florence (Brown) DeMoss.
He was a retired employee for the city of Newton, Kansas. Loren lived at for the last several years at the Wheat State Manor in Wellington, Kansas where he made many friends. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed collecting antiques through the years. Loren’s family was important to him and he greatly enjoyed spending time with his loving family and many friends.
He is survived by his children: Jeremiah and his wife Jennifer DeMoss, Justin DeMoss and his wife Leanna Martinez and Jodie DeMoss. He is also survived by his brothers Bill and Mike DeMoss and sister Diane DeMoss. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and former wife Pam DeMoss.
A gathering with family will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday December 19, 2016 at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, Kansas. There will be a private family interment at a later date.
