Loreta Landis

Loreta E Landis 90, died June 15, 2023 at Chisolm Place in Wichita, She was born September 4, 1932 in Newton, Kansas to Orla B and Grace V ( Shanklin) Miller. On September 14, 1951 she married Jack L Bartley in Newton, Kansas and he preceded her in death in 1979.  She later married William F "Bill" Landis on June 10, 1983 he survives of the home.

Loreta was a 1950 graduate of Newton High School. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.

In her younger years Loreta could often be found water skiing on area lakes and enjoying weekends with friends and family at the lake.  She enjoyed flying with her husband Bill and made it a point love each day the Lord gave her.

She is survived by her husband Bill; sons Vernon and Donald Bartley and several grandchildren and great grandchildren that she adored.

Loreta is preceded in death by her parents and husband Jack Bartley

Graveside committal service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Restlawn Gardens of Memory in Newton, with The Reverend Charles Claycomb presiding.
