Mark Allen Makovec, 45, died on September 1, 2017 in rural Severy, Kansas.

 

Mark was born on April 26, 1972 in Kansas City, Kansas to Michael and Janet (Byers) Makovec. 

 

Mark married Vicki Wiseman on February 23, 2002 in Holton, Kansas.

 

Mark was a handyman, mechanic, and enjoyed working with his hands.

 

He is survived by his parents: Michael and Janet Makovec; wife: Vicki Makavec; children: Laura (David) Graham, Kathryn (Bryan) Bender, Derek Shepherd, and Cecelia Makovec; five grandchildren: Maddy, Jazzlyn and Noah Bender, and Gabriel, Aoife Graham; brothers: Michael and Patrick Makovec; brother-in-law: Jack McHolland; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 9th at Columbus Avenue Church of Christ.
