Marta Ann Frye 72, died Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Salem Home in Hillsboro, KS. She was born April 6, 1944 in Ft. Madison, IA to Robert and Elizabeth (VanAusdall) Lorber. She was married on January 5, 1964 in Biggsville, IL. Her life was devoted to faith and family.

She is survived by her husband Stephen R. Frye of Peabody, KS; sister Lolly Beltz of Hamilton Township, NJ; children: Christopher & Linda Frye of Peabody, KS and Dana & Travis Shaw of Durham, KS; and 6 grandchildren: Emily, Samantha, Adam, Tiffany, Lindsey, & Ciara.

Marta is preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister, Mary McVey, and brother, Joseph Lorber.

A memorial service celebrating Marta’s life is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the United Methodist Church of Peabody.  Memorial funds have been established for: United Methodist Church of Peabody, and Kindred Hospice. Petersenfamilyfuneralhome.com.
