Mary Hanson, 87, passed away in her home on February 21, 2017 in Valley Center, Kansas.

Mary was born on August 29, 1929 to Cecil M. and Wilma I. (Jenkins) Walls in Jameson, Missouri.

Mary married Herbert Eugene Hanson on June 24, 1967 in Valley Center, Kansas. He preceded her in death.

“Miss” Mary was the personnel director for the Lasson Hotel in Wichita and the office manager for the district office of Massachusetts Mutual Insurance Company.

Mary enjoyed playing bridge, spending winters in Texas and being with her husband, Herb.

She is survived by her daughters: Connie K. Clark and adopted daughter, Terrie Kale, both of Hutchinson.

A joint graveside service will be held for Herbert and Mary at 10:30 a.m. on June 24, 2017, at the Valley Center Cemetery in honor of their 50^th Wedding Anniversary.
