Mary Ann Paris went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Kansas Christian Nursing home. Mary Ann was born December 6th 1959 in Council Grove, KS to Calvin and Betty Nigh. Mary attending Council Grove High School. In previous years Mary worked as a certified nurse’s aide. She faithfully attended Fishing Has No Boundary every year. She enjoyed collecting bears and baby dolls. Mary’s family was important to her and she looked forward to her nightly calls with her momma
She is preceded in death by her father Calvin Nigh. She is survived by her husband Martin John Paris of Newton and survived by her mother Betty Nigh of Cottonwood Falls, KS, one brother James Nigh of also Cottonwood Falls, KS, one sister Linda Freeman and her husband Bobby of Benton, AR and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the First Christian Church in Newton, KS., 102 East First Street, Newton, KS. There will be no graveside service.
