Milferd E Becker

Milferd E. Becker 74, died Friday, May 22, 2015 at Pine Village in Moundridge, Kansas.  He was born May 8, 1941 in Newton, Kansas to Jake and Julia (Koehn) Becker. On August 26, 1962 he Married Stella Mae Becker at Halstead and she survives of the home.  Milferd was a member of the Grace Mennonite Church in Halstead, Kansas. He was retired as the sexton for the Halstead City Cemetery.  Milferd was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He greatly enjoyed spending time with his loving family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife Stella of the home; daughters Brenda (Vincent) Koehn, Kimberly (Kenton) Dirks and Starla (Justin) Koehn all of Halstead, Kansas; brother Vernon (Sharon) Becker of Hardinsburg, Indiana; sister Ruby (Gene) Goucher of Galva, Kansas; sister in law Charlene Becker of Moundridge, Kansas; 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Howard Becker

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Grace Mennonite Church in Rural Halstead, Kansas with presiding ministers Raleigh Koehn, Marlin Unruh and Ty Johnson.  Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Grace Mennonite church with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Halstead City Cemetery.
