Patricia A Moulds

Patricia Ann "Pat" Moulds, 91, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Wesley Medical Center. She was born on March 3, 1933, in Newton, Kansas at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital, to Harold and Phoebe (Keady) Hughes. Pat married the love of her life, Elmer Dean Moulds, on November 15, 1953, in Newton, who preceded her in death.

Pat was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She graduated from nursing school in May 1953 and dedicated her career to caring for others until her retirement. Her humble nature and selfless spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Pat is survived by her sons, Randy (Debbie) Moulds and Jimmy (Patty) Moulds; daughter, Terri (Roger) Womack; and brother, Bob Hughes. She also leaves behind a legacy of love in her 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elmer Dean Moulds, brother Wayne Hughes, sister Kathleen Ward, and granddaughter Erin Laird.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Petersen Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate her life will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Petersen Funeral Home, with Reverend Cynthia Smart and and Pastor Chip Bungard officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wichita Children’s Home and left with Petersen Funeral Home.

Pat’s kindness and generosity will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
