Phyllis O Stiver 94, died July 25, 2023 at Kansas Christian Home. She was born January 14, 1929 in Dwight, Kansas to Sigfrid and Eva (Wandersee) Swenson. On December 21, 1946 she married Donald "Doc" Stiver and he preceded her in death on January 28, 2007.
Phyllis was a member of the First Christian Church in Newton.
She is survived by three sons Gerald (Teresa) Stiver; Daniel (Debbie) Stiver and Michael (Shirley) Stiver; Phyllis is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, son Leland Stiver and one brother and one sister
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday July 31, 2023 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Gary Bell presiding. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Sunny Slope Cemetery in Council Grove, Kansas.
